Languages are almost always alot of fun and are great for when you want to go abroad so what languages do you know?
My first language is English with plenty of Scottish slang and I took Spanish for seven years so I know a fair amount of it. I tried learning Danish but failed miserably. At the moment, I am learning Japanese very slowly.
How about yourselves? | |

| I speak Dutch as my native language. My English is also pretty good for a Dutch 16-year-old (I swear, Dutch people are BAD at English), if I can write it down that is. If I have to pronounce it I suck. I can have whole conversations in English with my friends, but when I have to speak English to someone who actually won't understand me is I don't, I fail like hell. Check out my karaoke challenge and you'll see what I mean. >_<
Apart from that, I speak a little French, A little German (obligatory languages at school) and I speak a fair word of Japanese. I can have a simple conversation in Japanese, but I do make mistakes, I don't really master the grammar that well...

| Oh I stopped learning German two years ago. But German is a very easy language when you speak Dutch. It's very much like it!
Example:
English : Good day Dutch: Goedendag (pronounce: Goo-dun-d(a as in 'star')g) German: Guten Tag (pronounce: Goo-tun- T(a as in 'star')g)

| That's true! In English, you have "the". In German, you have die, der, das, den, dem which one you use depends on the gender of the word (like wtf. You'd say that 'girl' is female right? In German (in Dutch too btw) it is not. O.o), and words like MIT NACH BEI SEIT VON ZU AUS! DURCH FÜR OHNE UM BIS GEGEN! And it sounds scary. | |

| I'm Dutch and so I speak it. I've heard that before.. Déjà vu? I Understand German quite well, speak it quite well but as Yamiko said, You have ten thousand ways to write "The" Which depends on several things (not only Gender.. That would be to easy right? -.-") My English is Ok but I still do make many mistakes.
My french is horrible! seriously. I've had french lessons for three years and the only thing I remember now is: "Je ne Parle pas François" and "Voulez Vous Coucher Avec Moi Ce Soir"
That's it ^^ | |

That's it ^^ ROFLOL. x'D "Voulez Vous Coucher Avec Moi Ce Soir" That was the first thing I could say in French without knowing what it meant, so I met a French person, who also spoke Dutch, and she asked me if I could speak Frence. My answer: "Yes, but only one sentence: Voulez-vous coucher avec ma, ce soir?" x'D She was like O_______o (I was like, eight/nine years old. x'D)
