| Everyone has a great fear, even if it is just one. Sometimes they have a proper name and sometimes not. What are some of your fears and phobias?
I don't think that it has a technical name, but I have a strong fear of scalpels ever since I sliced my finger open with one. As soon as my lecturer said that I needed to use one, I would start shaking and cry. When it happened I was just like "...oh, s**t" and casually asked him to help me as though it was some work I needed aid with but looking back at it I start shaking and completely freak out.
Other fears that I have : - Death - The world ending [it scares me to no end] - Dentists - Elevators/Lifts [I can't get in them alone] - Large, dark, empty areas
handheldfans - Public speaking - Being on stage [believe it or not. I only freak out beforehand though] - Missiles/Bullets - Deep or large areas of water - People in costumes [There is a reason I freak out as soon as Barney starts singing!] - Rejection - Papercuts [they give me chills more than anything but they still freak me out a little] - The dark [Whenever I have a nightmare and wake up, I become completely paranoid. I dreamt about a terrorist attack once and then I thought that there was gonna be a guy with a gun or something near my bed and I almost cried]. - Falling/Tripping [When I see a wire, I have to slowly go over it whilst taking note of my every move. It's stupid, yeah].
I'm getting over my fear of thunder and heights thankfully.

| Rejection is probably my biggest fear in life, but I have other ones as well:
- Hospitals. I can't stand the smell and atmosphere. I'd pass out as soon as I enter a hospital most of the time. - Clowns. O.o Scariest creatures on the planet. *shivers* - Elevators and other really small and narrow rooms. - Having people yell at me. Especially when it's someone important to me. Also; disappointing people. Both make me feel really bad, and often make me cry. - Atomic weapons. I used to have nightmares about them after seeing a documentary about them a few days after 9/11. A lot of people were talking about how they expected the US to use them on Afghanistan. - WASPS. I freak out whenever I see one. O.o
Also, it's not really a phobia, but I hate people I don't know that well touching me, especially guys, but also women who are significantly older than me. For example teachers, but even some of my relatives. I really hate having to kiss all my aunts and uncles at family meetings. x'D
Oh and I hate drunk people. I despise alcohol and the use of it. It's not like I hate everyone who drinks alcohol every now and then, but when their drunk, I don't want them near me. People turn so different when they're drunk, and it freaks me out big time to see someone I love and know very well, turn into a total stranger due to alcohol. It feels like that person is being taken away from me, and it makes me feel really bad. A few weeks ago at my best friend's birthday party, my best friend decided to get drunk for the first time. It was horrible, he did all sorts of things he would never do when hes sober, and I just didn't recognize him anymore. It was like seeing my best friend turn into someone else and it terrifies me.

| Hmm, I think you guys pointed out a few of mine too xDD Death - I know a lot of people who say: "I'd rather die than do -blahblah*!!" But when I really think about it, death is scary. Failure, rejection Public speaking - Lately I'm not that deathly afraid of it, I'm just bad D: Leeches... The feeling of helplessness, like for example being in a comatose state, or paralysis, or something similar. Just thinking of that freaks me out. I think I read too many stories on things like that O_O | |

| I'm scared of Failure, that's so stupid because I can't talk in front of people, I can't performe in front of people
because of that I got a black out during a really important test on school! I had to play on the piano but at that moment I had to achieve something I was totally empty even though I practiced for a half year! And yeah my note was regretful, such a waste of a half year practicing

| Aww, will you get a chance to retake the test? If you mention your fear of failure they might be willing to do something to make it easier for you, or be more flexible. | |

| they are only willing to do something if it's official
though I've been tested in the past and they always said I was possibly afraid of failure it's just that I have no official clarification

| I dunno if it's really a fear, but when people take my picture I completely flip out and freak. My lecturers wanted to take a class photo today and I almost cried whilst refusing to be in it. I'm fine taking a picture myself but if it's someone else then...no. Don't really know why or when I developed this, though. I've been like that for a while. | |

| I recently discovered I'm afraid of tunnels. Especially those with a low ceiling Whenever I'm walking through a tunnel, I walk as fast as I can, and most of the time I start running halfway just to get out of it again. | |
